How do I wash it?
We recommend turning your garment inside out and washing it in warm water on a delicate cycle. Line dry or dry on low heat.
Will the picture fade?
The picture should not fade any more than any garment experiences wear and tear over time.
Is the picture I see on the website exactly what I will receive on my item?
Every Haute Kidture item is unique! Each piece is hand-painted, so you can expect some variation. Since every Haute Kidture item is hand-made, we can make anything under the sun. We welcome special design requests.
What if I want a picture I don't see on the website?
We welcome special requests! Please contact us with any design ideas you might have. We'd love to work with you to create a unique, one-of-a-kind work-or-art for your child! Prices for special requests vary.
Why don't I see a "newborn" size option?
For newborns we recommend the 3-6 month (7-15 pound) size. The average weight of a baby at birth is 7.5lbs. (3.4 kg) so most newborns will fit perfectly into a 3-6 month Haute Kidture.
What is "sweatshop free"?
Haute Kidture items are sweatshop free because we use garments from an LA-based company that pays its workers a fair wage according to California wage and hour laws which are rarely respected.
What type of credit cards do you accept?
We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS and DISCOVER.
What is your return policy?
At Haute Kidture we want you to be 100% satisfied with your garment. If you don't love your Haute Kidture, return it and we will refund you money (less shipping) or make you a new item.

Haute Kidture items come in sizes 3-month to 6-years-old. For newborns we recommend the 3-6 month (7-15 pound) size. The average weight of a baby at birth is 7.5lbs. You may also want to check on the baby's weight before ordering, as not all 6-month babies, for example, are a typical "6-month" size. We often recommend buying a size larger than the baby's current size to leave room to grow.
